Abstract
In the highly competitive hotel industry, different establishments must find the most effective methods possible to attract more customers and increase their turnover. For this, hotels are obliged to use revenue management practices to improve and increase their profitability, in order to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. Thus, the development of this sector and its specificities impose the orientation towards E- distribution, to integrate a Channel Manager which will be used for the good management of the reservations, and the automation of the tariffs, the availability on several platforms at the times, while linking this channel manager with a real estate management system "PMS" for the smooth running of the tasks. The goal of this research is summarized on the study carried out to determine the role of the Channel Manager tool in the improvement of revenue management practices "Yield management" in the international context through the theoretical study then the application in the Algerian context through an empirical study at the EL DJAZAIR hotel
