Abstract
Competitive advantage and cost strategies receive a high level of attention from managers for their positive impact on the performance of organizations. Our study focused on how a company can build a competitive advantage using cost strategies, that is, how cost strategies (cost dominations, concentration strategy) may promote the creation of a competitive advantage by using the latter on behalf of competitors.
We applied the study to “MAPFRE Algérie Assistance”, where we distributed a questionnaire to a sample of 94 workers and used the descriptive analytical approach. Our results show that cost strategy has an impact on the creation on competitive advantage «MAPFRE Algérie Assistance».
