Abstract
This research examines the impact of age diversity on knowledge transfer within
organizations. Its main objective is to analyze the influence of age diversity on knowledge
transfer, as well as its effects on dynamic capabilities, knowledge sustainability, and
employee retention. To this end, an empirical study was conducted among a sample of 320
employees of ENAFOR. The results show that generational diversity positively influences
knowledge transfer and organizational performance. The study also highlights the mediating
role of intergenerational management practices and information and communication
technologies (ICT), as well as the moderating effect of the nature of knowledge and
intergenerational dyad profiles. These findings emphasize the importance of effectively
managing age diversity in order to promote knowledge sharing and ensure the sustainability
of organizational knowledge within the company.
