This master's thesis explores the impact of employee empowerment as a strategic approach on the development and profitability of tourism enterprises, with a focus on the hospitality sector. The research investigates how empowering employees contributes to improving organizational performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ultimately increasing financial returns in hotels facing growing operational challenges. The study was conducted through a case study at Hotel Mermoura, where data were collected using questionnaires distributed among employees across various departments. The analysis focused on understanding the relationship between employee empowerment and key organizational outcomes such as work environment, training opportunities, teamwork, and overall profitability. Findings from the research confirmed that employee empowerment plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work climate, promoting innovation, and increasing job commitment. Moreover, results indicated a strong correlation between empowered employees and improved service quality, which directly affects guest loyalty and, consequently, hotel revenue.
