Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of the Just-in-Time (JIT) strategy on the operational performance of the public company GIPLAIT Bouira. A mixed-method approach was used, combining interviews, observations, document analysis, and internal quantitative data. The results indicate overall satisfactory performance according to industrial standards, but the partial adoption of JIT, without comprehensive organizational restructuring, limits its positive effects. Two hypotheses are confirmed: partial implementation of JIT brings localized improvements, but the lack of a complete transformation hinders sustainable optimization. The assumption that JIT alone, regardless of structural context, could enhance performance is refuted. The study recommends a gradual and coherent integration of JIT, supported by internal reorganization and stakeholder involvement, to sustainably improve performance in public enterprises.
