Gestion des risques et prévention hospitalière en cas de pandémie Cas : crise sanitaire générée par la pandémie covid-19 en Algérie

Abstract

The Algerian national health system has always been exposed to several difficulties that reach its efficiency and performance. This has made it very receptive to the covid-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, risk management is an essential approach to improve the quality and safety of care in health institutions. The covid-19 pandemic will have placed the world in an unprecedented situation of risk and uncertainty. It has undermined all conventional prevention systems and forced countries, particularly Algeria, governments and organizations to rethink their risk management and their confrontation with uncertainty. In this research we discover the risk management strategy and measures taken by the health system in case of health crisis which are totally different from standard measures. On this point, Algeria has been able to show speed in terms of legislation. But if the creation of the tools was fast and effective, it is still necessary to have the means to enforce them.

The means are available whether financial or material, unfortunately the control of risk management measures is not fully up to the task and Algeria must first and foremost review its management and control of risks and thus strengthen its health system
