Abstract

Competence management is considered an important determinant of performance and economic growth. It has also become essential in the company's strategy. However, considering that this is a field that is not really exploited in the Algerian literature. Our contribution aims to fill the gap in the study of competence management in Algeria. To this end, our research attempts to study the effects of competence management on Algerian business performance. To verify this relationship, an empirical study was conducted in the Algerian Credit Populaire (CPA bank). The qualitative study was initiated, using a descriptive method targeting a dozen managers and employees of the CPA bank. The results were discussed in agreement with the existing theory. Thus, research limitations and implications have been proposed
