Abstract

Abstract As part of the PMSI and for the operation of the information treatment process in a hospital environment, a DIM is set up in a purpose of collecting, processing and analyzing information and for a calculation of costs of quality by the use of several tools and methods. In Algeria, the presence of a department which deals with information from the entry of patients to their discharge has become essential, which presents itself as an admissions office (entries) which helps the proper functioning of hospitals, in the process of billing (calculates costs), and know the status of activity and expenses in each department of the hospital. It helps in the process of prevention through information it processes.
